Traid projects Traid emerged at the end of the 90s against a backdrop of grunge t-shirts, neon rave gear and brit pop parkas, initially with four charity shops and a mission to fight global poverty.

Traid camden For the past 25 years, Traid has been a pioneer of second-hand and charity retail, on a mission to change fashion for the better. To date, with the support of customers, donors and supporters, over the years we have put a whopping million garments back into use, saving , tonnes of CO2 and million m3 of water.

TRAID stands for Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development, what we aim to do is to divert textiles from landfill, educate people on reuse/mending/the environment, and with the money raised we put it back into the textile industry.
